We are pleased to announce our newest Eagle Scout Ryan Melendez. Ryan completed his Eagle Board earlier this year and appears in this picture with Scoutmaster Stone. Ryan crossed over from Pack 186 with his Arrow of Light and became a model scout. During his time with Troop 186, Ryan learned leadership and planning skills through multiple leadership roles like Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader, these skills played a big part in the “monumental” success of his Eagle project that placed work crews all around Saguaro National Park. In addition to his duties with Troop 186, Ryan balanced an aggressive sports schedule, playing baseball and basketball in school and clubs.

Congratulations Ryan for a job well done!

The troop has had a wonderful and magnificent time up at Summer Camp this year! The photos are linked in two places. The first is a photo gallery already located on the website. A ski trip to Sunrise Ski Pack will take place over MLK Weekend 2018. Please be sure to review ski safety and be sure to bring gear for skiing! Please check in with one of the adults for more information. I hope everyone has a good time at the ski area!

We are pleased to announce our newest Eagle scout Cullen Drenkhahn. Cullen completed his Eagle Board in December and appears in this picture with his mother, father, and brother (all three are men are now Eagles!). With Cullen’s Eagle board completed, he can now focus on finalizing his applications for our nation’s military academies, good luck!
